This means that one who comes from the place of the origin and Truth in human form as the embodiment of this place, is Maitreya. In Christianity, it is said that God shall come from heaven. The heaven mentioned here is also the heaven of the origin; the heaven of Truth; the heaven of heavens, and it also refers to an existence of this place coming in human form.

The Universe is infinite and it has no beginning or end. The Universe always existed and its origin is the emptiness – the sky before the sky. All of creation came forth from this existence. It is not material; in fact, in this existence there is absolutely nothing yet it is alive and divine because it consists of the one God and Emptiness. It is the semblance of omnipotent and omniscient Truth. Everything in this Universe is this existence itself that has come into form. It is an omnipotent entity and if one becomes the consciousness of this existence then he is omniscient, as he will know all the laws of the Universe. It is because this existence exists that we have the capabilities of the origin, commonly called “instinct”.

Many people live hoping for a miracle to happen. There are some people who seek miracles out of their feelings of inferiority in order to appear superior. A miracle is something coming into existence from non-existence; when something that is impossible is made possible; and when what is dead is brought to life. In the world, we often see tricks that look like a miracle, but they are just sleight-of-hand, a trick of the eye.

We learned at school that Truth is an eternal and unchang- ing existence. I tell people that Truth is not only eternal and unchanging, but it is also a living existence. We learned as truth the fact that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. However, it is not Truth because both the sun and the earth will eventually disappear. Only the existence that has neither beginning nor end and only the existence that never changes is Truth. People cannot see this existence and cannot find this existence, even if they try for eternity, because people live inside their own mind worlds—they cannot see nor find what belongs to the real world.

However, if one has Truth inside his mind and is born in the true world, he can live forever.

This means that even though one’s life itself is Truth, man looks for Truth in the wrong places. Namely, it means that one searches for dō ignorant of the fact that when he becomes enlightened, the land of God and Buddha is the place where he is. Both sides of the hand are dō, and such is Truth.
Read MoreMaster Woo Myung Words to Awaken – What does the phrase, “How can I be enlightened when dō(tao) does not originally exist?” mean?
Dō refers to a path to heaven. In other words, it is the path to discovering your true self. It is the path to the Universe. When it is said that dō does not exist, it means that life is dō and that there is no action that is not dō. People search for dō elsewhere but dō does not exist because life itself is dō. When one casts off all of one’s self, he becomes the state of nonexistence. This non-existence is one’s original real self.

Master Woo Myung Songs Lyrics and Verses – Grief and Joy
Time that passes is like the flowing water;
and within that flow people laugh and cry;
they live meaninglessly.
All things live as they should,
but only we are laughing and crying.
All things are our own minds
that we ourselves make and then tear down.

At home the flowers bloom as they always do.
It seems home is the best place in the world,
because those who leave come back as corpses.
If someone does not come back home,

and if he is busy, it means he finds it a struggle
to earn enough to live.

The reason a person may insist that only he is right is that person is narrow-minded. In the false human world, crafty people are often said to have wisdom. However, such tricks and stratagems are not wisdom but merely ways of life in the human world. The Mind is not non-existent.
There is not a single thing in the Mind;
even this non-existence of things

The Mind is absent of sight, hearing,

as well as sensation.
A new life is unfolding.
Human life exists because man lives,
and in this life of his, there must be righteousness.
But man does not know what righteousness is.
Thus I must awaken him to it and save him.
Those who are superior do not pursue ‘dō (Truth).’
Those who are not may be poor,
but nevertheless, they seek out Truth.
While life comes and goes like an empty dream,
man does not know Heaven’s will.
Without knowing the meaning of his life,
he looks to Heaven,
and he lives harboring in his heart
the regrets and bitterness of this untrue life of his.
To believe in God means to believe in Truth. To believe in Truth means to believe in righteousness – in trueness. Moreover, to believe in trueness means to become true. To become true means to become complete. To believe in Jesus means to become Jesus. He who has become Jesus has faith in him and answer with his mouth. This means that he who answers ‘Indeed, Truth is inside me!’ with his mouth shall enter into Heaven.

Master Woo Myung Question and Answer – In the Lotus Sutras, it is said that man’s six senses – his eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind – will become clean if he diligently strives towards Truth. What does this mean?
To strive towards Truth is to walk a path towards one’s original self. It is said that man’s senses become clean when he does so because the more he goes towards Truth, the more he is able to shed human conceptions and fixed frames of mind.

That is to say, even if you had not been born, the emptiness that existed before all creation exists just as it is. You came into the human world with what you call your “self”, and lived as that false self having made your own world inside your mind. From the perspective of the original foundation, your life is less than a second when compared to the eternal land of the original foundation; it is nothing more than eighty or so odd years.

Master Woo Myung Writing – Man Has a Mind of Hunger Which He Tries to Satiate by Devouring Whatever He Can
Man’s mind holds illusions, which in themselves are hungry and empty minds. He always feels empty and hungry because he lives with these minds. The mind of hunger is a false mind that takes pictures. The human mind stores everything that it has stolen from the world; it is a mind that lives having turned away from Truth. Therefore man is a sinner and he is bound to his karma.

Master Woo Myung Writing – The Time of Discarding One’s Self When Man Can Fulfill Human Completion Has Begun
Man is born with a mind that wants to possess, so he seeks satisfaction and happiness through possession. However, there is no end to such means; ultimately, he cannot be satisfied or happy.

though one may live in the world laughing,
they are all futile dreams.
Time passes,
making everything into a dream
and scattering all existent images into pieces.
Regardless of what comes and goes on the stage,
the stage is always just there.
The people of the world are all actors,
but if they own the stage, they become the masters.
Mountain birds live in the mountains;
river birds live near the river;
and seabirds live by the ocean.
All things live where they should;
everything is in its rightful place.
When the wind blows,
I follow the wind;
and when the rain falls,
it soaks my body.
Master Woo Myung Teaching – The Way to Become a Person in Heaven While Living- The Way to Heaven While Living
People commonly believe that they will go to heaven after they die and that bad people will go to hell after they die. People living in this world do not know this world is hell; they also do not know heaven. This is because people who live in heaven know both heaven and hell, but people who live in hell know neither.

They are not able to differentiate between truth and lies. They believe in words that are not true when they are spoken in a grand manner. In other words, people live being fooled.

Many things may come and go in the empty space of the sky,
but the sky always just exists.
This sky is the mother and father of all creations;
it raises and rears all creations,
and it is also the stage.
Master Woo Myung Teaching – How to Become Truth and Why One Must Not Fail to Reach Truth
First, we must understand what Truth is. What is Truth? We have learned that Truth is everlasting and never-changing. So then, what is this eternal and never-changing existence? Let’s begin by thinking about the Universe. The Universe is infinite so it cannot be drawn but let’s represent it in this way.

people are unable to see through it.
That the fog and the emptiness are different
is a meaningless distinction that man makes.
The days of playing my willow pipe,
the days of laying near the stream
dreaming about my future,
have all become a longing
now that I am living absent of self.
The mind differs depending on the person.
Man’s mind is formed out of the experiences of his life;
it is formed out of his environment.
The lives people live are different depending on the person.
Master Woo Myung Poems to Awaken – Daybreak
With the dawning of a new day comes
the birds’ flight.
With the dawning of a new day comes
the dew that glistens in the sunlight.
I say to you all:
do not try to know
where it is I have come from,
or how I have come to know
the Truth I teach.
When seen from the big point of view –
from the world’s point of view –
the whole world is one.
But people live blaming the world.
Idealism is Truth itself: the state of completeness. To be ideal is to become Truth; it is when all of one’s thoughts and actions are oriented towards Truth. Therefore, an ideal life is when one is born as Truth and lives as Truth.

There are often more days of difficulty and suffering than there are days of happiness in life and it is in the midst of difficult times that we begin to think about certain matters. I am sure there are many who have given some thought to where they will go after they die, though they will never find the answer within their human thoughts. This is because man’s consciousness is dead and instead of living in the real world he is living inside the mind that he has made.

The holy writings of saints are often read and even memorized, but no one understands their true meaning. This is because they were written from the perspective of Truth, the true world and unless one becomes this viewpoint, he inevitably reads them from his own perspective.
