Master Woo Myung Method to Awaken – Enlightenment Is Needed to Have Faith, Enlightenment Is Needed to Live, Enlightenment Is Needed to Know All Scriptures, Enlightenment Is Needed to Go to Eternal Heaven
Enlightenment comes only on the way to Truth. That is when enlightenment comes. Your mind is only as big as yourself. When the mind which is the size of the self becomes as big as the universe before the infinite universe, it is enlightened. What one’s self-centered false self believes in is the self-centered false God, Buddha, or Allah. This is not believing in Truth. For example, if I believe in God and I merely say, “I believe, I believe,” then this is not true faith. You can believe in an existence only when your mind becomes that existence. Believing with your mind is true faith; this is enlightenment. The faith of those who are not enlightened is false faith. As your mind becomes Truth, you will gain enlightenment to the extent you have become Truth. You believe as much as you have within you, because enlightenment comes only when you become Truth. What is true faith? Is it regularly going to a place of worship praying often, singing or preaching well, or making large donations? True faith is when you believe with your mind.
The mind controls one’s actions and behaviors; people act according to what they have in their minds and everyone has a different mind. This is why people are only able to speak of what they have learned. People have stored and accumulated things in their minds, unable to cleanse them. The body is the temple and sanctuary of God. When you cleanse what has been scribbled in that temple and cleanse the self, then you will receive as much enlightenment as Truth has been revealed to you, and to that extent Truth will dwell in you. There is faith only when one’s mind believes and becomes Truth itself. Faith is enlightenment; enlightenment is faith.
Your sin is your self-centered narrow mind and only when you break it can you be Truth. Cleansing the self-centered mind is absolution of your sins and freeing yourself from your karma. Complete absolution is the only way to become one with Truth.
People speak and act according to what they have in their minds. There can be no Truth when you try to store in your mind the things you have heard about Truth. Only when the self does not exist, will there be Truth in your mind. One can only be Truth to the extent he has discarded his self. This is being absolved of your sins, being free from karma. This is true faith.
A person who has Truth in his mind truly knows how the world works, and also truly knows the Holy Bible, Holy Sutras, and all other holy scriptures. When you are absolved of your sins, free from your karma, this land is heaven where life and death are the same, and you can live in this kingdom of heaven eternally while you are alive. Just as you live according to what you have in your mind, there will be no death only when you have Truth and the kingdom of Truth in your mind while you are alive. You have no death because you are the forever-living, never-dying God, which you can only become when you have Truth and the kingdom of Truth in your mind. Because you are born in heaven, you will live in heaven. It is illogical to say that a person who does not have heaven while he is alive will go to heaven after death.
Changing your destiny can only be achieved by changing your mind. You can have Truth in the mind through the absolution of your sins and the cleansing of your karma. That is enlightenment and faith. You will be able to know the Holy Bible and Holy Sutras through the absolution and cleansing of karma. Absolution is the way to eternal heaven while living.
