Master Woo Myung Meditation Message – The Living and the Dead

The word death usually refers to the end of the physical body’s life. The death of the mind, i.e., the death of the soul and spirit, is a different matter.

Our bodies are physical, but what moves this material body is the mind, which is non-material. What we have in our minds determines how we act, speak, and live. A person with his own mind instead of Truth will live in hell when his body dies; a hell which, like a dream, does not exist. But there is no death for one whose mind is reborn as the eternal never-dying Energy of the universe, God, because he has Truth within. He lives with a true body and mind in the Kingdom of the True Body and True Mind. Existence and non-existence are not two, but one. This is the Energy and Consciousness of the universe. This is Truth. One whose body and mind are reborn as Truth is alive. The dead do not know the living nor the dead. But the living knows both the dead and the living.

What one has in his mind will give rise to his thoughts; one who has thoughts is a person who has demons. If one believes what he thinks is right and true, then he must cleanse his delusions and his self. Then he can live eternally by being reborn in heaven and becoming Truth while living.

When one becomes Truth, he knows that he is Truth and knows that he is alive. One who has not yet become Truth knows he is not yet complete. One who has not become Truth, not become complete, will die when his body dies. He will live in hell, the land of delusions, which does not exist.
