Master Woo Myung Teaching – What Is Human Sin and Karma ?

The world consists of the body and mind of the universe, the true existence. This true existence is the origin itself; the never-changing, everlasting existence which creates everything in the universe. It is the living, non-material real existence, which existed before eternity, exists now and will exist forever.

Because it is non-material, people cannot see, hear, touch, smell, or taste it. However, it is alive. Only this existence is forever-living and never-dying. It is the origin, or root, of every creation in the universe and everything in the universe came forth from this existence. Thus, the shape of this existence is the whole of creation.

This existence is the omnipotent and omniscient Creator; and as such it created everything in the universe and is the origin of everything. Because humans are self-centered in the era of incompletion, man could not become one with this existence. This era served its purpose of bringing more humans into this world through periods of formation, growth, and fruition.

Using their eyes, ears, nose, and mouth, the false, self-centered minds of humans take pictures of the world, the perfect kingdom of God. These pictures are stored in people’s minds and they live in the pictures as the owner of those pictures.

In science class, we learned that the camera was based on the principles of the eye. Wherever we go, we take photographs of the real place. We look at those photographs and relive our memories over and over, again and again. These photographs are not reality; only the actual places we visited are real. Likewise people take pictures with their eyes. People take pictures of their hometown, friends, parents, relatives, and neighbors, and store all the pictures in their minds.

People take pictures of everything – including elementary school, middle school, high school, college, and everything in society – by seeing with the eyes, hearing with the ears, smelling with the nose, tasting with the mouth, and feeling with the body. They store those pictures in their minds and live through them, thereby living in the false, delusional world, hell. Life within their mind’s world they have created is hell. And yet people think that they are right based on their fixed conceptions and habits from their mind’s world.

He who has his own mind world continues to live within it even after death. This mind world is a delusional world that does not exist, it is death. When people become complete and become one with Truth, the world is already complete and the everlasting, never-dying heaven. However, people live trapped in their hell because they own the hell they made. For example, Manhattan really exists, but a picture of Manhattan is not really Manhattan. People live in their mind world as the main character of their life’s movie. But that film has no life in it. When you discard it and live as the world, then you will become a saint, a person with all wisdom who knows the way the world works.

In one’s own life movie, which is within oneself, the main character in that film does not have life, and only lives according to the script. The purpose of this meditation is to teach people how to discard their film made up of their pictures, which is fake; to enable people to become the world, perfect Truth; and to be reborn in heaven, the living world. It enables one to live as a child of the everlasting, never-dying God, without worries but with freedom. When you discard the false delusional world of pictures, your soul and spirit will be reborn as Truth, which is the body and mind of the universe; and you will go to eternal heaven while living.

The world is already awakened,
the world is already complete;
but man is trapped within his mind world he has made.
He lives as the owner of his set of pictures,
man is not living in the real world.
He is trapped within the hell he has made,
that is why he is dead.
In order to breathe true life into those pictures
burn all the pictures, then only the world remains.
When one becomes a person of the world
this means he is born again as Truth,
which is to achieve human completion.
Because a person has all his experiences in his mind,
he is not one with the world.
This is sin and karma.
When a person does not have his own mind’s world,
only the world remains.
Because man has not become the world,
because he is not born in the world,
he does not live in the world.
Being reborn as the body and mind of the world,
being reborn as the everlasting, never-dying God,
is the cleansing of the mind.
This is finding true self.
