Master Woo Myung Teaching – Only Truth Can Teach Truth

People etch countless things into their minds through their surrounding circumstances. In other words, they live by “eating” or storing minds. Moreover, they want to possess anything that is advantageous to them. What they put into their minds become their “selves” and when something is in one’s favor or when it agrees with their conceptions they believe that it is “right”.

People are surprised to learn that none of these things are actually right. A complete person, who has become Truth and sees from the Creator’s perspective, can know that everyone’s words are lies and their actions are not done truly.

Whatever man says is a lie,
and whatever man does is false.
Only a true person who has become Truth speaks and acts truly.
The world was in an age when there was no Truth;
there can only be Truth when Truth comes to the world.

Religious scriptures are books that talk about Truth but in order to become Truth, Truth must come to the world for Truth to exist. When Truth, the Creator, created the world it was done with the intention of saving all things in the land of Truth – the land of Light. It was also created so that many people could live in the world of Truth.

The Earth was created according to the harmony and balance of the Universe. Just as there was a period of creation and a period of growth, there will also be a period of harvest. Many people think that people would not live with such suffering if the Creator or Truth is perfect. They also wonder why the Creator did not create man in a perfect and complete way, if the Creator is indeed omnipotent and omniscient. However, man is living according to the harmony and balance of Truth.

The countless stars in the sky also influence our lives. Man could not exist without the sun and moon and in the same way, all living creatures and micro-organisms live according to the great Creator’s will. Through the balance of the Universe, the Creator made the human population increase in the period of growth that came after the period of creation, because it was a time of incompletion.

It can be seen in the Korean Declaration of Independence written in 1919 that there were 20 million people living in Korea. In the years since, there was the Korean civil war in 1950 and many people died. Not even a generation later, the population of North and South Korea grew to around 75 million people. People believe wars make the population decrease, but instead it multiplies because people give birth to more children during such times.

If people were created to be complete from the beginning, there would have been no conflicts. The human race may have already died out because people would have been complete; without feeling any want or lack, they would not have felt the need to have children. It is the unintended intention or will of the Creator to harvest as many people as possible by making them breed as much as possible. When you are gathering in the harvest, it is better to do so when the crop is as large as possible. All the scriptures are prophecies. They foretell the age of Truth and completion – that a world of complete people will come.

Heaven and paradise will become fulfilled here on earth, and it is here that people will live forever. This means that a person who has the world of the Creator, this place and earth, in his mind will not die and his Soul will live eternally.

Heaven is the place where only the Light and Energy of the Universe and Creator lives. A person who has become that Energy and Light will live forever.

Only Truth can teach Truth, and only Truth can make a person become Truth. Isn’t this natural and logical? Isn’t it nonsense to claim that a person who is not Truth could teach Truth? Just as the Universe created saints in times of need, someday the existence of Truth will come as a person and teach Truth.

Only this existence of Truth can make one become Truth and take him to the world of Truth. A person can teach only what he has in his mind; he can teach only what he knows. To know something is to have it in one’s mind.

For example, a person would not be able to teach Uzbek, the language of Uzbekistan, if he does not “have” Uzbek in him. In the same way, a person cannot teach Truth or make someone become Truth if he does not have Truth.

While Truth has been spoken of by many people, only Truth can teach Truth and make people become Truth.

It is thought that in the world there have been many sages and people who have become Truth. What is important is the extent of their enlightenment. As the clergyman said, this is not something that can be achieved through one’s own efforts, but it has to be given to him by the grace of Truth.

Just as Truth cannot be bred when the seed of Truth does not exist, one cannot teach Truth and make other people become Truth unless he himself is Truth.

If a person who had become Truth had previously existed in the world, the world would have already become complete. There would have been a method, and schools and educational institutions that teach people how to become Truth would exist. Moreover, the world would already have become one.

Truth and man are not separate but it is only when the existence of Truth appears as a human being that man and the world can be saved, and all people can live in the land of Truth.
