Santa Clara Meditation Happiness Matters – What made you laugh today? Why?
A blonde and a brunette worked in a factory. The brunette says, “I know how to get some time off from work!” “How?” asks the blonde. “Watch this,” says the brunette. She climbs up to the rafter and hangs upside down. The boss walks in, sees her, and says, “What on earth are you doing?” “I’m a light bulb,” she answers. “I think you need some time off,” says the boss, so she jumps down and walks out. The blonde starts walking out, too. “Where are YOU going?” says the boss. The blonde replies, “I can’t work in the dark!”

Did it make you laugh? If so, I got you. Thank you for opening up your mind. (●’◡’●)^_^💜🧡💛

There is a saying laughing can make you live longer. The more you laugh, the better you feel, and the more joyful and happy you become. Laughing improves energy circulation and blood circulation and makes you healthy. There is a saying that if you laugh for about 15 seconds a day, you will live two days longer. Laughter reduces the secretion of Cortisol, which is a stress hormone and increases the secretion of Endorphin, which is related to longevity.

According to laughter researcher Ph. D. Robert Holden, laughing loudly for one minute has the effects of relaxing muscles, circulating blood, and increasing immune cells in the body as much as ten minutes of aerobics, jogging, or biking does.

When our body starts to laugh, more than 231 muscles move. Laughter moves not only facial muscles but also activates internal muscles in the body. Furthermore, just as we run, bad air in the lungs escapes, fresh air enters, heart rate increases, and blood circulation improves when you laugh. In other words, laughter is the most comfortable and effective aerobic exercise.

So there are a lot of good sayings about the importance of laughter.

In the east,

“Laughter is the Best medicine.”

“Laughter brings good luck.”

“For every minute you are angry, you lose sixty seconds of happiness.”

In the west,

“Seven days without laughter makes one weak.”

“If we couldn’t laugh, we would all go insane.” – R. Frost

“You have as much laughter as you have faith.” – Martin Luther

I know it’s good to laugh, but there were many times when I couldn’t laugh. I wanted to laugh like a young child without restraint. But, negative thoughts and emotions piled up in my mind prevented me from laughing. Negative mental scraps! Fortunately, when I started meditating, I was able to throw away the obstacles and finally laugh. 😍💗💦💥

**Through meditation, I could see myself in the life that I lived, how I was living every day in my life. I’ve always been nervous because I wanted to do well, not make mistakes, and do better than others. My entire body muscles were stiff, and I ever had a headache, shoulder pain, and back pain.

**Not only my body but also my facial muscles were stiff so that I couldn’t laugh easily, and my smiles became unnatural and awkward.

** I was able to get rid of stress, burden, and tension that I had accumulated for a long time through meditation. Whenever I finished the session, the body’s energy and blood flow were better, excreting the collected scraps in the body, and I was able to escape from chronic pains such as headaches, shoulder pain, and back pain.

One day, while I was meditating intensely, my hands went to my stiff face without realizing it. I started massaging my stiff facial muscles with my fingertips as if breaking the solid mass of my mind into pieces. I tried to loosen the facial muscles that couldn’t smile with an open mind and have been stuck at with an angry expression. The tightly clumped part hurt, but I held back the pain and massaged it. My face got hot. After the session, I looked in the mirror, and surprisingly, my facial expression was completely different. I had changed from looking angry to look comfortable.

I’m not the only one with this experience – anyone who does the meditation becomes the most beautiful version of themselves, and their faces brighten up. It’s a very natural phenomenon. You will naturally become beautiful without having plastic surgery. 👩🙆‍♂️🎄🌈

Your face is the window that reflects your mind. It is my face that reflects my state of mind as it is. So, when I look back on my life and cleanse away the pain, burden, and stress that piled up like trash inside me, interestingly, my face changes, and I can become a person who smiles all the time. That is why we have to cleanse away and empty the mind. After discarding the mind, if you go back to your original clean and pure mind, you can smile genuinely anytime, anywhere. You can laugh when you have a positive and big mind. So you can live healthier, longer, and better than ever before. You can live a happy life at all times.

I am attaching a video here, hoping that it will help you live a bright and happy life. Thank you. 🧡💛👍🌼🍁
