Master Woo Myung Teaching – True Wisdom

We commonly speak of people having or not having wisdom.
Among the legends of King Solomon, there are stories illustrating his “wisdom”. One story tells us how he distinguished real flowers from artificial flowers by opening a window and using a bee to show him which were real. Another story describes how he wisely helped to settle a quarrel between two women, each claiming to be the birth mother of a new-born baby.

Master Woo Myung Teaching – Those Who Follow Dō (Tao)

The reasons people follow or do dō (a Korean word meaning Truth or The Way) is in order to succeed, to become superior to other people in some way, or to appease their feelings of inferiority. However, dō is the opposite of these things because the existence of dō is the existence of Truth. In order to achieve true dō, one must discard his very self and shed all of his own preconceptions and habits. Only then is it possible to get to the place of dō. However many people fail because they try to achieve dō whilst holding onto their selves.

Master Woo Myung Teaching – What Is Salvation? It Is Falseness

In Christianity it is said Christ, the Savior, will come down on a cloud with trumpeting angels. In Buddhism, it is said that Maitreya will come to the world of sentient beings, the saha world, to save people. Jung-san told us the Great Commander, Dae-doo-mok, will come, and So-tae-san also said that Maitreya will come.

Master Woo Myung Teaching – The Human Mind I

Man’s eyes, nose, ears, mouth and body were made as picture-taking tools from birth, and his mind is where the pictures taken of the world are stored. What we call sin or karma is taking pictures of that which belongs to the world and living in those pictures in one’s mind, instead of having a mind that is one with the world. Such a person is a sinner – one who has accumulated karma – because he has betrayed the origin that is the world by making and living in his own world.

Master Woo Myung Teaching – True Mind

One who has placed
demons and ghosts – his delusions – inside his mind
will live with a demon-like mind.
One who has a negative mind
will live with a negative mind.

Master Woo Myung Teaching – Idealism

Idealism is Truth itself: the state of completeness. To be ideal is to become Truth; it is when all of one’s thoughts and actions are oriented towards Truth. Therefore, an ideal life is when one is born as Truth and lives as Truth.

Master Woo Myung Teaching – Salvation Is Not Your Self Living

What is salvation and why do people need to be saved? It is the way of the world that all creations come from the original foundation and return to it. This is the law of nature. Because man is false and an illusion, this falseness must be eliminated if he is to return to the world and be born as a real person. This is man’s salvation. Man can only be saved when he is reborn in his mind that has become the world. In other words, only when his false self has completely disappeared can he become real.

Master Woo Myung Teaching – Where Is Heaven?

Many people think about death and have questions about it but there is no one who knows the answers to their questions. Each religion talks of a world beyond this world: in Buddhism, it is said the world of paradise, where Buddha resides, exists. In Christianity, it is said that heaven exists. However, no one knows which place is true.

Master Woo Myung Teaching – The Definition Of Truth

Truth is an everlasting, never-changing and living existence. This is the correct definition of Truth. The existence that is everlasting, never-changing and alive is the body, Jung, and mind, Shin, of the Universe, which existed before the great Universe. This existence is the sky before sky: the emptiness that is the great Universe itself. It is Truth and the very Soul and Spirit of the great Universe.
