Master Woo Myung Wisdom’s Answer – It is said the time after the coming of Truth is an era when women will hold influence and power. What is the reason for this?
Women, or the female, represent greatness.
Women, or the female, represent greatness.
A guardian god, sometimes referred to as a guardian angel, is a god that protects a person.
Why would dragons be called dragons if they did not exist?
My mind is what thinks;
A person with a lot of karma finds it difficult
When your mind does not exist,
‘Dōn-soo,’ or the practice that maintains immediate
enlightenment,
The whole of creation is the oneness.
The mind does not really exist.
All creations in the universe that are born in this world are incomplete material forms that exist and then disappear.
Truth is the Jung (Spirit) and Shin (Soul) of the infinite universe emptiness that exists in this world.
The creators make the world born again within the person’s mind.
For all existent and nonexistent things of the world to be saved during the era of creation,
Long ago,
we would make a fire,
Do not sing or dance about human life.
Where there is Truth, there is the Way.
The true mind exists within oneself.
People tend to have their own conceptions of what an ideal ‘dō-in (道人)’ or ‘one walking the Way of enlightenment’ is.
When we come to know or realize something while living in the world, we say that we have been “enlightened”
People who resolve difficult situations in a sensible manner are often described as being wise. However, the source of wisdom is knowing Truth.
Truth is a never-changing, living existence
that man cannot see.
Truth is the Energy and Light that created
the never-changing Universe.
The original Truth is
the universe before the universe,
Resurrection is to be born again as the soul and spirit of the original, eternal and never-dying Truth by cleansing one’s body and mind, which is the self-important mind, the unclean mind, and sin.
When someone helps us materially or spiritually, we say we have been blessed.
Although there is daylight
sleeping people do not know it.
One must be enlightened in order to believe.
Only a wise person knows he is to blame.
People in the world generally believe that a person has achieved a high level of dō if he speaks as though he knows extraordinary things or if he is able to do things that ordinary people cannot do.
Although the place of God and Soul is the place where absolutely nothing exists, the existence of God and Soul does exist.
To live after being reborn is resurrection.
I have been teaching Truth for over ten years.
In the world, there is that which is true and that which is false. The world is true and man is false.
The reason why people have unresolved questions,
The saviors are the masters who save this world. This world can only be saved when the existence of the Way, the Truth, and the Life comes. In other words, it can only be saved when the masters of the world come.
The Bible teaches us that those who die for God do not die. What this means is that a person who discards his false self for the sake of Truth will become Truth and live as Truth.
Hae-in-sa is a Buddhist temple in Hapcheon, South Korea, and in Buddhism hae-in-sam-mae refers to a deeply quiet state of mind
Resurrection is commonly understood to mean a dead person returning to life.
Religions, philosophies, ideologies, and academics will all become one as they return to Truth. All countries will also become one when their ideologies return to Truth.
People can only speak and live according to what they have in their minds.
Humans are incomplete because instead of being born in the world and living there, they live according to their lifespans and end up dying.
The masters of this world are the creators, who are the Spirit and Soul of the universe.
Until now, in the world of material creation, it was an era when people who had high IQs (Intelligence Quotient) lived a better life.
In Christianity, it says that God is within you, and in Buddhism, it says that Buddha is within you. In Islam, it says Allah is within you.
Truth: Christianity calls it God, Buddhism calls it Buddha, and Islam calls it Allah.
While living in this world, there are cases where people insist that their particular religion is right and are therefore in conflict with each othe
Angels work in heaven and pass on messages from God to the Earth.
A god is an existence that dwells in heaven. Heaven is a place that is different from the human world.
The world of divine beings refers to the energy of the origin.
Adivine being is a person who is completely without self.
People have made different levels of heavens in heaven, but originally these levels of heaven did not exist.
The eyes of heaven refers to the eyes of the origin which is the body of one mind.
When your mind does not exist,
you become heaven and earth.
The mind that thinks;
the mind that loves;
these minds are all man’s thoughts.
The sounds of heaven and the sounds of the earth
do not exist separately;
Pitiful womenfolk sigh,
thinking of their indifferent husbands
who left for Hanyang.
There were people living long ago,
a long, long time ago.
Man is a creature
that has no equal in the world.
It is the state in which
you have reached your original self.
‘Dō (Truth, or enlightenment)’ has never really existed,
It is the Way to your original self.
He who makes his living off of
cultivating fields in the mountains
searches far and wide into its rough depths.
In the days
when there were not many people living in the world,
every mountain was green.
If you were to ask me
what this life is that you are living,
I would tell you that there is no Truth in that life.
In the Bible, it is said that Heaven, the Land of Bliss, and Paradise exist within the mind. It is also said that God, Buddha, Allah exist within the mind.
People commonly think that they go to Heaven, the Land of Bliss, Paradise when they die. However, there is absolutely nothing when one dies.
When people live in this world, some people live good lives whereas others cannot.
The mind of Truth is the Jung and Shin, which are the Holy Spirit and Holy Soul, that remain in the infinite universe emptiness when you com- pletely discard your karma, habits, and body.
The human mind is the life lived of the self, which is made by taking pictures of the thingsof the world,
In the Bible, it is said that we should not believe that God exists in a certain place over here or over there.
Creation is making something that does not exist, exist.
Resurrection is when all the creations of the universe within this world are made to live as Truth in the Land of Truth.
Salvation is when the dead world and dead people are brought to life. The reason why the world is not alive is because people are incomplete.
Just as computers have artificial intelligence (AI), humans can now have a similar intelligence, which is True Wisdom.
A drifter has no home.
A drifter has no wants.
A drifter is man.
A drifter’s mind is nervous.
A drifter is lonely.
The countless stars that are shining bright in the sky
exist due to the Mind which is
free of wants and attachments.
I can see the terraced rice paddies in these mountains;
hail falls from the sky.
The wanderer who searches in haste for the Mind
does so not knowing that he already has it.
To all of you living in the world:
learn how to be unknowledgeable
before being knowledgeable.
The phrase, “The ordinary mind is the Way,” means that simply living as it is, is the Way. It means that always living with a constant mind is the Way.
Those who are ignorant have false, delusional thoughts, or ‘klesha’, and such ignorance is due to the absence of wisdom.
Man seeks God or Buddha in the places where he prays. But he who has a delusional self rejoices that he has heard God’s reply to his prayer, when actually,
People are unable to meet God and Buddha due to their lack of wisdom. To have wisdom means to know Truth, for which Truth is God. He who has become God has wisdom.
That a person is kindhearted means that the true Mind dwells in him; that we must be kindhearted means we must have the true Mind in us.
A person who bestows material or financial favors or aid is often described as being gracious or having grace but true grace is allowing one to spiritually become one with God.
People etch countless things into their minds through their surrounding circumstances. In other words, they live by “eating” or storing minds. Moreover, they want to possess anything that is advantageous to them.
Jesus Christ told us that there is no righteous person in the world, including himself, and that only God is righteous. Just as he said, there is not and there has never been a righteous person among the people of the world.
Man is ignorant of what Truth is; he lives in a delusion following the conditions of the world, and in it, he does not know where he is going or what he is doing.
The foundation of this great universe is
the eternal and never-changing Truth,
which in turn is Energy and Light.
The padma garbha loka dhatu,
the tathagata-garbha world,
and the real world –
all of these are the names of Buddha’s realm.
Nirvana is death.
What this means is
one can achieve ‘dō (Truth)’ after one dies.
There is an old Korean saying
that though one may know water which is ten yards deep,
one cannot know a single inch into a man’s mind.
He who has accomplished all
is one who has reached human completion.
He who has accomplished all
is one who has become Truth.
The river is silent
in the past and present.
All the people of the past have gone
and new people have come.
We have heard many times that we are Buddha. The whole of creation is already enlightened; the kingdom of God or Buddha is already complete and all creation is alive. But, because of their false minds, people are dead and trapped in their own graves.
Though I exist in the clouds, no one has seen me,
though I exist in the wind, no one has seen me,
though I exist in the celestial bodies, no one has seen me,
though I exist in the world, no one has seen me,
though I exist within people, no one has seen me.
No one has seen me because they do not have the universe.
Until now, people in religions listened to the words of saints, spoke about them, and strove to behave accordingly. Religions are places where people go to listen to the words of saints because they are incomplete. Religions are also places where one must believe those words and adhere to them. But more importantly, people have been unable to become complete in these places because they lack a concrete method.
Finding one’s true self is the study and the method to go to the land of Truth while he is still living. It is what Buddhism calls ye su jae (Buddhist rites of passage to heaven for the living) which is to send oneself to the land of Truth. Finding one’s true self is like performing chundo for one’s self while he is still living.
What is it that you are trying to gain,
trying to find,
trying to obtain,
and trying to have?
Man does not know what Truth is. That is, he does not know what is true and righteous. His conceptions are formed from what he has seen, heard, learned and experienced and he believes that only what agrees with his conceptions are correct. However all things are just a difference in perspective and in man’s life nothing is actually correct. This is because in man it is not Truth but falseness that speaks and moves. Pictures become stored in the “video” that is his mind, and it is the pictures that speak, hear and move.
Man’s sin is dwelling in an illusion. He who is within human conceptions and habits has sins but he who is free from everything does not have any sins. The place free from sins and karma is the place of dō. It is a place of Truth that is free from everything in the human world. The place of Truth is a place where one has discarded all of his conceptions and habits, the place where even one’s self does not exist. It is a place free from absolutely everything – a place of freedom, deliverance and liberation.
In the Bible it says that man was created to resemble God. This means that man was created to only resemble God, not as God himself. Man takes pictures of the physical forms of God that is the true world, and stores these pictures inside his mind. If one takes a picture of the real world that exists, that picture resembles the world but it is not real.
Man is born into the world as the child, the offspring, of incomplete humans and as such, is not a “clean slate” but has human minds from birth. Such inherited human minds are called “original sin” in Christianity. What is referred to as “actual sin” is the world that one has made himself by taking pictures of the world and storing them in his mind. It is also the preconceptions and habits, which are emotions from the picture world that have become one’s mind.
All that exists in this world only exists
If this world is to become Heaven,
Whether religious or not, people think that when they die,
#1 Wall Street Journal, #1 Amazon, #1 Barnes & Noble, and USA Today bestselling and award winning author Woo Myung presents his latest book, How to Go to and Live in Heaven, Paradise, and the Land of Bliss While Living.
A person does not have the existence of Truth that is God, Buddha, Allah because he is living inside his mind world, which overlaps the world,
There are countless religions and religious denominations throughout the world,
Each religion and many people believe that when a person dies,
Human sin is that people live inside their own self-centered minds instead of living in the universe mind

Absolutely nothing but the Jung (Spirit) and Shin (Soul) exists in the true mind.
People try to become sages by gaining enlightenment about something,
Nirvana or spiritual death is to eliminate absolutely everything.
Death refers to the end of a person’s physical lifespan.
Enlightenment is meeting the origin of the mind.
No one can see their true selves, because it is hidden by their forms and their lives.
People understand that the existence with the original mind is the true self.
The elderly live in their way,
The passing years become one’s companion
When clothes are covered with dirt,
A single girl acts preciously
A dancer makes a living through dancing;
The river that flows
I have come from the place
Heaven has no limit.
Man does not know that
in the state where familiar faces join hand in hand
I have come from Heaven.
A familiar face is walking over into the yonder,
Truth, come out.
Truth, show yourself.
Truth, make yourself heard.
‘Seon-bang (禪房)’ is a place people go to
in order to find their original nature –
to find Truth.
I can recall the early winter,
when fallen leaves would blow in the wind,
for I do not have a want-filled, human mind,
I exist,
but I live a non-existent life.
Life is a thing that exists because the body exists.
Man longs for the days of
those countless stories that have all disappeared.
Where they have gone, he does not know;
Everything that is of the material realm exists because of ‘cause and effect’.
A life in Heaven is the life of God – of Truth – in the absence of one’s self.
A free person is one whose self no longer exists and has thus become God.
To be reborn means to be born again as God.
The world was made by the will of God. This will of God does not actually exist,
God is from before and beyond this great universe, and it is He who created Heaven and earth.
There are many people living in the world but their minds are all different,
We often use the word resurrection for many instances in the world that do not warrant it,
We must gain eternal life and go to heaven while we are living.
We come to truly believe in something when we can acknowledge it fully with our minds.
While people talk about being of the Christian faith,
Faith is the affirmation of the mind.
Civilization has reached great heights,
Man sees the Universe through his own thoughts,
While in America, I had an opportunity to speak to a large audience of people who were of the cloth.
Complete enlightenment, complete achievement, and complete wisdom are different terms,
Koreans perform the act of Bahng-Saeng, the freeing of fish into rivers, symbolizing freedom from the old.
What people claim to know is what they have selfishly stored in their minds from learning, seeing, and hearing in their self-centered world.
I have often heard religious people say they have been resurrected as the Holy Spirit and then later change their minds.
There are many, many things in the world.
The human mind is a negative mind. It is a self-centered mind.
Many people believe there are people in the world with rare abilities such as flying, walking on water, travelling over long distances within a short space of time, or some other supernatural ability.
Dō literally means “path”.
Jesus Christ taught us that God is within your mind.
Life is to be alive and it is the existence of Truth where the Soul and Spirit that is the origin of the world is alive.
In the Buddhist sutra, Mahayana Mahaparinirvana, it says that man shall be completely enlightened and
The Universe is infinite and it has no beginning or end.
Many people live hoping for a miracle to happen.
The existence of Truth is referred to as God in Christianity, Buddha in Buddhism, and Allah in Islam.
We learned at school that Truth is an eternal and unchang- ing existence.
There is no one who knows the principles behind how people are born into this world,
This means that even though one’s life itself is Truth, man looks for Truth in the wrong places.
The word dō refers to a path; a path that must be travelled.
Everything with form in the world is mind, and everything without form in the world is also mind.
Did you know that everything you have been searching for is within your mind?
Time that passes is like the flowing water;
The elixir of life sought by Emperor Qin,
Do not boast, if you are wealthy,
At home the flowers bloom as they always do.
A person who has experienced
Rites are performed
People live crying for affection;
Birds are flying in the sky.
The reason a person may insist that only he is right is that person is narrow-minded.
The Way, Truth, God, Buddha, Allah, ‘Haneol-nim’, and so forth all refer to the Universe before and beyond the universe.
Sin consists of both original sin and personal sin.
Enlightenment
is acknowledging with the mind;
It is because man is dead that he does not realize that he is dead and not alive.
People commonly talk about having had an “epiphany” or having been “enlightened” about something.
Man’s kleshas are born of the mind he has.
People think someone who studies a lot, is successful, or solves problems well is wise.
Many people are curious about this meditation.
One who has become Truth is true.
There is a Korean saying that goes, “Huh, huh, cham, I’m at a loss for words!”
In the false human world, crafty people are often said to have wisdom.
While people often perform rites of passage to heaven for the dead, and believe that they will receive salvation from their religion, if one does not receive salvation while he is alive he cannot be saved after death.
Possession is the birth of another false self inside one’s false mind.
The universe is without end.
The phrase, “Only I am great in all of heaven and earth”, is speaking of the state when one does not dwell as a man even as he lives as a man, and
Everything produced by the human mind is false because it is not Truth.
Lost young lambs are told where they must go,
A person who chases out demons weeps tears of blood.
The wind chimes of Heaven ring leisurely,
Love is endlessly peaceful.
Heaven, man, and earth are one;
Patches of clouds are afloat in the sky.
Human life does not actually exist,
The countless experiences that man seeks to gain,
Enlightenment means that one’s mind knows from within.
Gaining insight into one’s true nature and actually becoming it are not the same.
A prayer is something a person offers so that he may become one with God, and through it, he can indeed become one with Him.
Everyone living in the world is dead because people are tied to the conceptions and habits of their lives and to their shape and form.
People live from the energy that comes from the food they eat. When this energy disappears, they die.
“So long!”
“Good-bye!”
There is not a single cloud in the sky.
Come dear child, let us go to Heaven.
The word death usually refers to the end of the physical body’s life.
Enlightenment comes only on the way to Truth. That is when enlightenment comes.
The original existence of Truth in the world is the empty sky – the place that existed before all creations of heaven and earth came forth.
Man was born with a mind that takes pictures of the world and everything that belongs to the world.
There is not one person who is living in the real world.
Human life has only taught us to have and possess more.
A house can exist because the ground exists and the ground can exist because the Earth exists.
What are you looking for and what are you trying to know and gain?
Gesong is a written expression of one’s enlightenment.
People see the mountain simply as a mountain and they see water simply as water.
This koan asks about the origin of the subject, whatever it happens to be –
A demon is none other than yourself.
All living things
To live without attachments is to live well.
When dealing with another,
The day the dark clouds are lifted
Love is endlessly peaceful.
Upon the earth is where life is lived.
The wind is
Rain falls from the sky.
The Mind is not emptiness.
A new life is unfolding.
Those who are superior do not pursue ‘dō (Truth).’
To believe in God means to believe in Truth.
Human sin consists of original sin and personal sin.
A prayer is what a person offers in order to become one with God or Buddha.
In the Bible, it is said that people see outward appearances but Jehovah sees the inner heart.
Ever since religions have existed in the world, there have also been never-ending religious wars.
The wind is blowing.
A person’s mind comes to exist
due to his parent’s images.
An enlightened person is silent because
From early times, Koreans have sought the divinities of heaven and earth, and also for God.
Christianity tells us we must believe in Christ if we are to go to heaven and that faith in Christ is the only thing needed to go to heaven.
Many people are curious about heaven and hell – about where they are and whether or not they truly exist.
The Mahaparinirvana Sutra, a Buddhist holy writing, says that in the future, in the world of the future Buddha, parinirvana or perfect death can be achieved.
The state of ‘no concepts and no ideas’ is to be without any thoughts whatsoever; when one is alive but has no self within his thoughts; when one is not bound to any ideas at all.
The green mountain tells me to live silently,
To strive towards Truth is to walk a path towards one’s original self.
Man looks at the sky
with the mind of a viper,
but heaven does not accept
The world is full of words and so noisy
but nothing happens according to man’s will.
A person who believes himself to be superior,
If you travel far away in a cloud,
you will find that no one exists in the cloud.
People dislike partings.
Some partings are absent of reluctance or regrets.
The one whose long golden hair blows in the wind,
Should I tell people to come?
After taking a deep breath,
I whistle a tune.
Man ages with time,
with life.
We have heard the expression ‘to cleanse one’s mind.’ The expression exists because the false mind exists.
The mind can be divided into the ‘true Mind’ and the ‘false mind’.
The expressions in the title above mean one must become the very existence of what he desires to know in order to truly know it.
Faith is
the conviction of the mind.
In this world,
there are countless different religious denominations.
Clouds are floating peacefully
in the infinite sky.
Living silently like nature,
living silently like the universe,
is the life of Truth.
Christians are waiting for the new Messiah to come and Buddhists are waiting for Maitreya.
Man has continually added or “eaten” minds by storing countless different events and pictures of the world in his mind.
Many people have questions about samsara.
Nothing that is material in the world is eternal.
Many people are interested in whether or not they have a soul that exists after they die.
Man is called a small Universe because it is possible for man to have the Universe within him, as well as become the Universe.
Whether it be man, animals, plants, the celestial bodies in the sky, or Earth itself, everything returns to nonexistence – the origin of the Universe.
We did not come from anywhere, and there is nowhere for us to return to.
The mind is the Universe,
Minds make people suffer,
because minds are a continuation
of the mood of the life one lived.
People’s agonies
come from the minds they have.
People live with worries
because they need to eat and survive.
Many a wanderer exists in the world,
but there is no one who thinks or says
that the life he lives is futile.
Though a familiar face is walking on the street,
people just look at him as he passes by.
The wanderer has grown accustom to this foreign land;
he is bound to the land due his love for it.
Life is life.
Man is man.
Though a stranger may live in a foreign place,
Nimitta is existence.
Existence is want.
Want is attachment.
Religion is all about following teachings, whereby, throughout the years, religions have tried to deliver the words of Truth.
People usually think and say that eternal Heaven can only be entered once they die.
That a human being has reached completion means he has become free of his sins and has been born again as a child of God.
There is not a single human being who knows what Truth is.
Come find me, for me,
come find me, to see me,
come find me, when you become me.
The new kingdom
The new universe
The new world
After the eternity of time,
I came into this world as a human being to have life.
Every time a seminar or lecture is held in the U.S. I ask people if they know what the existence of Truth is, but no one knows.
There are roughly seven billion people on this planet, but no two minds are alike.
People live without knowing the reason they were born and then they die and pass on to the next world. Since the beginning of time countless people have lived and died.
In the Bible it says that God and heaven are within you.
When a person in Korea does not have the solution to a dilemma he will often be told, “You will know the world beyond (the afterworld) only after you die.”
The Mind of Heaven is like a floating cloud.
Spring –
the season in which all creations
Clouds are floating peacefully
in the infinite sky.
Man and all creations in the world have an origin, and that origin is the same for all things.
Nature, or great nature, is the Universe.
There are no trees; some mountain peaks are too high for trees.
The apocalypse has always been a much discussed topic, and it is said that when it happens everyone will die.
Fly…
Rest…
Run…
Walk…
When it is said that the Savior is the “king of the clouds in the sky”, it means he is the true master of the sky – heaven – itself.
It is often said that when one dies and drinks water from the spring of life, he will completely forget the past.
Nam Sa-go is the author of book of prophecy, Kyuk-Am-Yu-Rok. He was a person who had the ears of heaven; he could hear messages from heaven.
First, we must understand what Truth is.
We are afraid of ghosts and we also often tell stories about ghosts.
On days when the wind blows,
on days when the rain pours,
I sing and dance,
The Advent of Christ refers to the return of Jesus Christ.
The still Mind is like a lake.
Human life is not true, but false
so there is nothing to gain, receive or have from it.
The Bible states that sins committed in our minds are also sins.
People are born without knowing the reason or purpose of their birth and then die ignorant of what everyone should fundamentally know:
Our minds are formed from a young age, through our daily lives: from our experiences with our families, neighborhood, schools and society.
The essence of the book, Chun-bu-kyung, is the idea that heaven, earth, and man will become one.
Nature’s flow’ means everything is based on and happens according to a certain order.
Of and by itself” means ‘just as it is’.
It is not easy to live in this world.
The eternal, never-dying God is the universe before the universe.
When man has nothing,
he is perfect.
Ever since I was a child,
The Universe consists of yin and yang.
A couple should be of one mind
in order to be husband and wife.
Youth is a time filled with endless dreams.
When a person achieves enlightenment, all of his sins disappear.
Human greed comes from the desire to survive.
Every moving thing is God. People do not believe this because it is not something that they can see, but the emptiness is God, as are all celestial bodies in the sky.
We commonly speak of people having or not having wisdom.
Among the legends of King Solomon, there are stories illustrating his “wisdom”. One story tells us how he distinguished real flowers from artificial flowers by opening a window and using a bee to show him which were real. Another story describes how he wisely helped to settle a quarrel between two women, each claiming to be the birth mother of a new-born baby.
It is a common misconception that when the end of the world comes, the world will disappear.
It is said that when the end of the world comes, countless people will die while those who have faith in their religion will not.
Images that arise in the mind are all illusions. Furthermore, everything that one sees and hears is an illusion also, because they are seen and heard from within his mind. Many people want to do dō – pursue Truth – in order to become superior or to gain something. However dō is about discarding; simply put, it is about discarding all of one’s mind and body so that nothing remains. This is so that his mind can become the never-changing existence of Truth, from which he can then be reborn.
The reasons people follow or do dō (a Korean word meaning Truth or The Way) is in order to succeed, to become superior to other people in some way, or to appease their feelings of inferiority. However, dō is the opposite of these things because the existence of dō is the existence of Truth. In order to achieve true dō, one must discard his very self and shed all of his own preconceptions and habits. Only then is it possible to get to the place of dō. However many people fail because they try to achieve dō whilst holding onto their selves.
One must shoulder burdens.
One must shoulder burdens if
he is not of nature’s flow.
One shoulders burdens because
he defies the laws of Heaven.
If one asks what it is to live,
I answer that both living and dying do not exist.
All things in the world live lives
where life and death exist.
If you want to know me,
if you want to find me,
if you want to see me,
to resemble me,
to be one with me;
come to heaven.
A person who takes pains to find Truth
has the possibility of finding it,
but a person who does not try
can neither find Truth,
nor know it.
If you were to ask me where human life comes from,
I would answer that life neither comes nor goes.
If you were to ask me how to live well,
I would answer that there is only one way to do so
and that is to become a saint.
Many people seek out meditation because they want to find a way to assuage their feelings of inferiority.
Man must become complete in order to be absent of death.
Faith is the conviction one has in his heart – in his mind.
One believes when one’s mind believes.
Whatever it may be, a person’s mind believes it when
his mind becomes one with it.
Master Woo Myung’s Song Lyrics and Verses – Best Health Dance
The empty universe is the origin of all creation.
Even the young cowboy who feeds his cattle
has become so worn by the city and its civilization
that he cannot find his cattle.
He says he tends to them
when in fact he does not know what cattle are.
People think the end of the world is everything dying, but the end of the world is being reborn as Truth and living in heaven. It is the end of the world because one destroys heaven, earth and man with his mind, and because heaven, earth and man no longer exist, it is a new world.
Human desires differ from person to person but every desire is manifested from feelings of inferiority: of feeling not good enough or having less than other people. A person who lacks love seeks love and a person who lacks money chases money.
In the world, there is no such thing as a free lunch.
No one can stop the passing of time,
nor can anyone blame the time that has passed.
Living becomes a sort of parasite of time
on which man lives in the world.
Dear Adada,
You have been born in to this world as a human being,
but you are a dumb mute.
However you are infinitely good.
Dear Adada,
Who could possibly know your heart?
A walker walks
and a runner runs.
There are many different paths that people take,
but people hurriedly travel their paths
ignorant of where they are headed.
Every person has memories.
Memories are what one remembers of the past.
Past memories become the roots of one’s mind,
and they form the present,
which is lived with this karma.
Cosmos flowers, swaying in the breeze,
blossom by the roadside and are beautiful
even in the cold wind and frost.
Cosmos flowers, swaying in the breeze,
are both fragile and strong.
In Christianity it is said Christ, the Savior, will come down on a cloud with trumpeting angels. In Buddhism, it is said that Maitreya will come to the world of sentient beings, the saha world, to save people. Jung-san told us the Great Commander, Dae-doo-mok, will come, and So-tae-san also said that Maitreya will come.
In the early days of teaching Truth, I have seen many people who wanted to achieve Truth in order to become a superior version of themselves.
Nature’s flow is one.
Nature’s flow is Truth.
Nature’s flow is the whole of creation.
Nature’s flow has no hindrances.
The Mind is absent of wants.
The Mind is all creations in the universe.
The Mind is the minds of all individual things
which are of various shapes and images
that live and think.
To be complete is to be without death, and the world that lives eternally is the complete world.
Christianity tells us Christ is the son of God and that he is God himself. This is perfectly correct. It also says that Christ is the Way, the Truth, and Life, and that no one can go to heaven without going through him. This is also correct.
The world consists of the body and mind of the universe, the true existence. This true existence is the origin itself; the never-changing, everlasting existence which creates everything in the universe.
The passing sailboat
may look peaceful, detached, and beautiful,
but it is not so for the sailboat.
Pushing through the blue waves,
with its white sails raised,
it is lonely.
Man’s eyes, nose, ears, mouth and body were made as picture-taking tools from birth, and his mind is where the pictures taken of the world are stored. What we call sin or karma is taking pictures of that which belongs to the world and living in those pictures in one’s mind, instead of having a mind that is one with the world. Such a person is a sinner – one who has accumulated karma – because he has betrayed the origin that is the world by making and living in his own world.
I hear a man coughing in the early morning darkness. On his back he carries manure over the hill to the fields. This is an example of the life of a diligent man.
The Universe in a delusional mind is not the Universe of Truth.
I knew not what ‘doh (Truth)’ was,
but upon walking its path,
I am now on the true Way.
I try flying endlessly
in the blue sky.
No matter how far I go
it is always the same place,
the same spot.
In the far distance, puffy white clouds
are drifting by.
Clouds pass,
and it is me that watches them.
Handsome, good-looking, stylish,
great figure, well groomed,
so good-looking, so distinguished,
so pretty, so lovely,
radiant as the moon, well-defined features,
In Korea people believe that when they speak badly of someone or curse them, the words become reality and what is said actually happens – that the words become the “seed” of what happens in reality.
There are countless stars shining
outside, through the window.
They are not of anybody’s mind,
but they all keep order
and are in their places.
People insist their own religions are right and that other religions are cults or heretical.
One who has placed
demons and ghosts – his delusions – inside his mind
will live with a demon-like mind.
One who has a negative mind
will live with a negative mind.
I am naked and my life is naked, too.
I lived wearing clothes –
I lived behind a mask.
Which was more expensive,
the clothes or the man?
The reason the lives we humans live are false is the empty Universe – the original Truth and the original foundation – is our origin.
People generally believe that they are truthful, honest and right. They commonly also think that they do not cheat anyone, and that they do good deeds for others. People have self-centered human minds which make them believe anything that is not theirs is wrong.
Some sects of Christianity assert that a person who is the omnipotent and omniscient God will live for eternity in the world with his human body.
Man lives carelessly,
not knowing Truth or falseness,
but comes to know them by coincidence.
Such is none other than the path of ‘doh (Truth)’.
Man’s mind holds illusions, which in themselves are hungry and empty minds.
I was one who could not die, for I was afraid of death.
But now that I have died
and have thus become free of all my burdens,
I have reached the state of great enlightenment.
Man is born with a mind that wants to possess, so he seeks satisfaction and happiness through possession.
Though one may live in the world sighing,
though one may live in the world laughing,
they are all futile dreams.
Time passes,
making everything into a dream
and scattering all existent images into pieces.
Regardless of what comes and goes on the stage,
the stage is always just there.
The people of the world are all actors,
but if they own the stage, they become the masters.
Mountain birds live in the mountains;
river birds live near the river;
and seabirds live by the ocean.
All things live where they should;
everything is in its rightful place.
When the wind blows,
I follow the wind;
and when the rain falls,
it soaks my body.
People commonly believe that they will go to heaven after they die and that bad people will go to hell after they die.
Mankind is lost because people lack wisdom. Not only are people ignorant of the true meaning of the religious scriptures, they do not know when they are being lied to. They are not able to differentiate between truth and lies. They believe in words that are not true when they are spoken in a grand manner. In other words, people live being fooled.
Many things may come and go in the empty space of the sky,
Stay put like a bear until you have solved the formula because it can get you to Truth.
When fog densely covers the world,
people are unable to see through it.
That the fog and the emptiness are different
is a meaningless distinction that man makes.
The days of playing my willow pipe,
the days of laying near the stream
dreaming about my future,
have all become a longing
now that I am living absent of self.
The mind differs depending on the person.
Man’s mind is formed out of the experiences of his life;
it is formed out of his environment.
The lives people live are different depending on the person.
With the dawning of a new day comes
the birds’ flight.
I say to you all:
do not try to know
where it is I have come from,
or how I have come to know
the Truth I teach.
When seen from the big point of view –
from the world’s point of view –
the whole world is one.
But people live blaming the world.
Idealism is Truth itself: the state of completeness. To be ideal is to become Truth; it is when all of one’s thoughts and actions are oriented towards Truth. Therefore, an ideal life is when one is born as Truth and lives as Truth.
Worldly preconceptions teach us that Truth is something that is eternal and never-changing. I, too, teach that Truth is eternal, never-changing and living. I also teach what worldly preconceptions do not – what the existence of Truth is.
If you ask what Buddha is, Buddhism tells us that you are Buddha and that your mind is Buddha. Although this is correct, only a person who has the mind of Buddha is Buddha. Buddha, God, and heaven, do not exist in the human mind.
There are often more days of difficulty and suffering than there are days of happiness in life and it is in the midst of difficult times that we begin to think about certain matters.
Whenever I meet people, I treat each and every person with serious consideration. I urgently implore them again and again to become Truth. Everyone seems to listen at the time, but many people suddenly change their minds and give up.
The holy writings of saints are often read and even memorized, but no one understands their true meaning.
In all the religions that have ever existed in this world, people listened to the words of past saints and they tried to adhere to those words from within their mind worlds. The saints all spoke of a complete being coming to the world one day and that at this time all men could become complete and live in a world where man is able to live forever without death. Essentially, they were all prophecies.
In Buddhism the master of the Universe is called Buddha, while it is called God in Christianity. In Korea that is originally of the Haneol-nim ideology it is called Haneol-nim.
When the Messiah comes to the world he will chase out all demons from the world of sin and take man to heaven.
Man lives in a world of sentient beings; a saha world; a world of hell; a world of sin and karma.
What is Truth? Truth is the place of the everlasting, never-changing Universe before any creations came into existence. This place is the origin of Truth. In other words, the place where there is absolutely nothing in the Universe is the mother and father of all creations, and this existence is the origin of all creations. This existence is the original appearance of the everlasting and never-changing Truth.
People often speak of going to heaven or hell after death. But what are heaven and hell? What happens to people after they die? Clear answers to these questions cannot be found anywhere; nowhere can one actually be enlightened of the answers.
I have asked people if they know what is true. I have also asked them if they know what is false.
Christianity tells us we have original and actual sin, and Buddhism tells us everything is in our minds and that what we hold in our minds is karma.
The original foundation is the Creator, and it is this existence that created the world and all things in it. It is not a material existence but a metaphysical one. It is a living existence that exists divinely as God and Soul. This existence created all material creations.
There is no one in the world who knows the laws of the world or the will of the world.
From the beginning, the world was created complete; it is already enlightened and has life. Because man is not born in this world, he is not born in the complete world.
There are two types of creation: spiritual and material. The Creator that is the master of the world is not a material existence but a metaphysical one. It is the origin and source of the Universe; it is the Universe before the Universe. This existence is Jung and Shin (Soul and Spirit). Amidst absolute nothingness, Jung and Shin exists; Jung is the place of emptiness and Shin is God that exists in the emptiness. All physical forms in the world are representations of this existence.
The reason we repent is so that we can go from our false worlds to the true world and be reborn there. We repent so that we can discard our minds that are false and become the true mind. It is also in order to discard ourselves that are sinners and become our true selves.
The Universe that is devoid of any material things existed before you were born and it exists whether you are born or not.
The way all of the many different forms in the world came into existence was by the right set of conditions for creation coming together. This type of creation is called material creation. Material creation is possible because the celestial bodies in the sky exist, and soil, water, wind, and temperature exist on Earth. From the perspective of the Universe, the Creator, it is the Creator who created all things.
Even though we are always with God, a person who lives within the false human mind only has what is within his illusionary false mind. Man does not know God because God’s mind does not exist within the human mind. In the world that is true, God is both everything in existence and the emptiness where there is nothing, but man cannot see or know God because he lives not in the world but in a copy of the world.
Since mankind was created in the world, people lived their lives continuously forming and destroying delusional thoughts and notions in order to possess and own more.
There is one world, but it is seen in millions of different ways because there are millions of different human minds. Born as the child, the offspring, of incomplete people, man takes pictures of things in the complete world through his eyes, nose, ears, mouth and body, and stores them inside his mind.
In the world there are falseness and Truth. Man’s mind that lives copying what belongs to the world is false, and the world is true. Man is not one with the mind of the world; instead he lives in an overlapping copy of it. In any case, it is a certain fact that he lives in his own mind world. He comes to know Truth to the extent that the mind of the world enters his, and this is enlightenment.
Man is waiting for the coming of a delusional Truth; an existence made from his own beliefs and standards. Man believes this entity of Truth will come only for him and he waits for this entity in order to gain something; he believes that a Jesus of love and benevolence will come only to save him. He believes this because he lives within his own self-made mind world.
Falseness is what does not exist and reality is what does exist. The human mind world that man makes is false and the world is real. It is the way of the world that everything in the world comes from and returns to the origin, the source, or the original foundation.
People believe they are alive and those who are religious also believe that they will go to heaven after they die.
What is salvation and why do people need to be saved? It is the way of the world that all creations come from the original foundation and return to it. This is the law of nature. Because man is false and an illusion, this falseness must be eliminated if he is to return to the world and be born as a real person. This is man’s salvation. Man can only be saved when he is reborn in his mind that has become the world. In other words, only when his false self has completely disappeared can he become real.
Many people think about death and have questions about it but there is no one who knows the answers to their questions. Each religion talks of a world beyond this world: in Buddhism, it is said the world of paradise, where Buddha resides, exists. In Christianity, it is said that heaven exists. However, no one knows which place is true.
Whether or not man has a soul is something that is often discussed. The law of nature is that all material existences in the world come from the origin and go back to the origin. This is the law of the Universe. A person who believes in Truth, that is, a person who has become Truth, can be reborn in the kingdom of Truth. Only the master of Truth can enable him to be reborn, and can resurrect his soul.
An innumerable number of people have come and gone in this world, but no one knows where they came from or where they went. In any case, they have all disappeared from the world. From the Universe’s point of view, man disappears after a fleeting, meaningless life;
Man believes that what is in the world is alive and what is not in the world or what has disappeared is dead. In fact, it is people, humans, who are dead. Man is dead because he is not one with the eternal mind of the world. He is trapped inside his own mind, within his preconceptions and habits, formed by taking pictures of countless things from his illusionary mind world.
There were people living in the world even a long time ago. The many people who lived in the world throughout the ages have all disappeared, silently and without a trace.
Truth is an everlasting, never-changing and living existence. This is the correct definition of Truth. The existence that is everlasting, never-changing and alive is the body, Jung, and mind, Shin, of the Universe, which existed before the great Universe. This existence is the sky before sky: the emptiness that is the great Universe itself. It is Truth and the very Soul and Spirit of the great Universe.
