Santa Clara Meditation Movie – What is something unrealistic that you often see in movies that annoys the hell out of you?
How big can the feelings of hate and reproach that an individual has? Hate and revenge are common subjects in horror movies and are important motives for guiding the narrative. But sometimes, when the ‘vengeance’ towards an individual grows infinitely and spreads to unprovoked evil deeds and barbarism towards an unspecified majority, I feel uncomfortable and unpleasant.
The scariest horror movie I’ve ever seen is ‘The Ring’, which is a representative movie of this psychology. The characters who are killed for no reason ultimately stem from the resentment of a girl and a play of revenge to solve it.
