Master Woo Myung Teaching – A Miracle – Stop Living In This Land, Go To The Everlasting World Of Happiness, Live There Forever
Many people live hoping for a miracle to happen. There are some people who seek miracles out of their feelings of inferiority in order to appear superior. A miracle is something coming into existence from non-existence; when something that is impossible is made possible; and when what is dead is brought to life. In the world, we often see tricks that look like a miracle, but they are just sleight-of-hand, a trick of the eye.
Although it may appear as though there have been many miracles in the world, a true miracle has never come to pass. A true miracle is when falseness is made into Truth, and when dead people are made real so that they are born and can live. Only this is a true miracle. People are cured from their illnesses when falseness is chased out of their minds and their minds are filled with Truth.
One can be cured of his illness when he ignores his self and has faith in his mind of the existence that is real; ultimately, illness and disease disappear when one discards his false self and only the true mind remains. I have on numerous occasions heard of people who have recovered from their illnesses through meditation but I do not teach Truth for the purpose of curing illnesses – I find such news inconsequential. My purpose is for false people to recover their original nature in order that they may live a life of nature’s flow and go to an eternal world without death where they can be reborn with the Soul and Spirit.
Man is only able to see the outward form and he does not have Truth so he is unable to see Truth that is life. Inside his own mind, he judges whether something exists or does not exist, whether something is dead or alive but that judgment is only his own mind. What is truly alive is Truth, and falseness is dead.
When all material things are eliminated from the Universe, only the empty sky, the origin remains. This origin is Truth and the master of the world. Only a person who is this existence can enable man to be reborn with the body and mind of this existence. The miracles that people speak of are miracles of human affairs, but a real miracle is saving people into the world and allowing them to be reborn in the world with the body and mind of the origin. This is the miracle of miracles – a true miracle. The miracles of human affairs are false miracles. They are meaningless and it makes no difference whether or not they happen.
Only birth in the true world and eternal life are miracles of the world and not a miracle of human affairs. Man pursues Truth to try to find something and attain something. He tries many different things, but what he attains is gained in his false mind. This only adds to his burden and is not true attainment. Living well in the human world and attaining everything that one wishes cannot be achieved from a particular place. If one discards what is in his mind a miracle takes place and everything he wished for becomes fulfilled. Everything in God’s mind, the mind of the world, becomes fulfilled. The solution is to know that one’s regret and bitterness from his unfulfilled wishes are false and futile and to become free from everything.
