Master Woo Myung Method to Become Truth – One Must Have No Kleshas in Order to Be Complete
Man’s kleshas are born of the mind he has.
This mind he has is his body and mind.
So long as he has this delusional body and mind,
his kleshas cannot go away.
It is from the mind one has that his thoughts occur,
and the mass of those thoughts is his mind.
In order for the whole of his kleshas to disappear,
one must be free of the existence one calls his self.
Unless one is free from his self,
one’s kleshas will exist.
Man’s knowledge is nothing more than kleshas.
It is when man is cut off from knowledge
that he will be in the state of God and of Buddha.
And it is then that he will be absent of kleshas.
As people progress in this meditation level by level,
their consciousnesses expand,
and they come to have the great Mind.
And it is in this moment
that they feel as though they are in want of nothing.
However, as time passes, they feel deprived.
It is when our self-centered, smallest minds expand into
the Mind, for which there is
nothing wider, larger, higher and lower –
the boundless Mind –
that they will become complete.
Every offense, wrong-doing, and misfortune in this world
is because of oneself;
it is because of one’s own offenses and wrong-doings.
He who is grateful to God and is one with Him
is a person whose human mind has completely vanished.
It is from his human mind that his thought-mass was born;
since he no longer has his mind,
he no longer has his thought-mass
but has God dwelling there in its place.
Such a person is one who is complete.
He who has God in him – in other words,
he who has God, who is Light, in his thought-mass,
is one who is done repenting.
He is one who has thwarted his demon
and has confessed that it has completely surrendered.
He is one who has received God’s seal upon his forehead.
God and Buddha do not have any kleshas and exist as they are;
so he, too, would no longer have any kleshas
and would dwell in the state of completion.
Man must become complete
in order for him to be without any kleshas.
Kleshas exist because one’s mind exists.
Kleshas exist due to ignorance.
Kleshas are the maya (delusions) of the dead.
Kleshas represent the dead.
The living have no kleshas.
A living person is one who has become Truth.
Truth has no kleshas
and so a person who has become Truth has no kleshas.
Kleshas exist because one’s self exists.
Man’s body and mind must be transmuted into
the Body and Mind of God and Buddha.
Who is God and Buddha?
They are the Creator.
The Creator of the Universe is the master of
all creations before and beyond all creations.
The Creator is the emptiness,
which is the Universe that is before and beyond the universe.
This Creator has a Body and a Mind,
for which the Body and Mind are Truth;
the Body and Mind are
the eternal and never-changing Energy and Light.
This Creator – the Energy and Light – is
the Truth that existed before the beginning of this world
and will continue to exist as it is even after.
This is the existence that will never vanish
even if one were to try to eliminate it for all eternity
while he was meditating.
But man can neither know nor see this existence,
for it is invisible to the false mind of man.
It is because he has been unable to see this existence
that countless religious denominations have been created.
When man’s mind expands as large as this existence,
he will be able to see this existence with great clarity.
No matter how much a person may be told of Seoul,
unless he has seen it, he will never know it.
Therefore unless we become this existence itself,
we will never be able to see it or know it.
And the only way to become this existence is through death;
once one’s self completely dies,
this existence will become him,
and he will thus be reborn as an individual who is
the eternal and never-changing Energy and Light.
That one has been reborn means that one has gained
the life of Truth.
It is when man frees himself from his self-imposed shackles
and steps out of his grave
that he will know the logic of the Universe.
The reason man knows nothing is because
he has sins and karma
and thus does not have Truth.
The things man knows
are those which are of his own human mind –
a mind that has a sense of self and is full of attachments.
Unless mankind’s body and mind are transmuted into
the eternal and never-dying Body and Mind of the Creator,
which are the Energy and Light respectively,
none will live.
