Master Woo Myung Method for Finding Truth – The God of One’s Delusions, Omnipotence and Omniscience
The common perception of God is that he exists in some kind of form and shape in heaven. However the existence of God, the origin, can be understood in the following way: When all creations in the Universe are erased, the empty sky remains. When even this empty sky is erased, there is an existence that does not ever disappear. This existence is the source of the Universe; it is the Creator and the existence of Truth; the existence of the Holy Father and the Holy Spirit. It is the origin of the Universe, and it is this existence that is God.
This existence created the Earth, stars, sun and moon in the sky, as well as all creations on Earth. Such is the reason God is said to be omnipotent, because he created every shape and form in the world. All things were created through their surrounding conditions, and by the universal order of God. Creation happens of and by itself, but it can also be said that God, the original foundation, created them. God is omnipotent because he creates, and all creations appear.
God or Buddha is Truth and the original foundation. One can know all the ways of the world when he has become this perspective, which is why God is said to be omniscient. Omnipotence is the power to create the whole world and omniscience is knowing everything about the world. Man will know God and understand what omnipotence and omniscience truly mean when his mind, his consciousness, becomes one with the world.
When God, the Savior, comes to the world he will take man who is living in sin to heaven that is the land of God, and through his words he will give him resurrection and rebirth. This is another instance of God’s creation. In the Korean book of prophecy, Jung-gam-rok, it is said that a Savior, a saint, must come to the world. In Buddhism, it is said that Maitreya must come in order for paradise to be fulfilled on earth. These mean that such an existence will change man’s mind from the false human mind to the mind of God and the world; and he will give man rebirth with the body and mind of the origin and Truth within his mind that has become one with the world. This is what salvation is – it is when man becomes reborn as Truth. God gives salvation with his words. It is with his words that he will resurrect man and the world, in man’s mind that has returned to the origin. This is only possible when the master of the world has come.
Until now, every religion only spoke of Truth and we only added to our minds and tried to gain and get more. When the Savior comes, people will become Truth and live forever. In the same way that we cannot love our enemies no matter how many times we are told to do so, we cannot become Truth just by hearing about it. We can become reborn in the world of Truth only when we change our human minds to the mind of the world. This is the only way to live forever and it is the only way to become Truth.
Up to the present Truth was just spoken of, but now anyone can become Truth by eliminating the human mind. The past was an age of adding to one’s mind, but now one can become Truth by eliminating what is in his mind, and live reborn as Truth. Therefore, the hopes of all religions and all people can be achieved.
