Master Woo Myung Method to Gain Wisdom – When One’s Consciousness Becomes That of Truth
To have consciousness is to be aware of the world. When a person is in a coma and on oxygen, we say he has lost consciousness. Humans think they know how to live, but they live by their delusional knowledge which they have within. Humans communicate following their own thoughts, judgments, discernments, and discriminations; and they think they are right. Such thinking is due to their self-centered point of view.
When your consciousness becomes that of the true consciousness, you know nothing. Even so, you know what is righteous. This is the empty mind where there is an absence of knowing and everything is emptiness itself. This consciousness is that of the living God, and its shape is the size of the mind of the infinite universe. It is a state that transcends ‘clearness’ or ‘purity.’ In this ultimate nothingness, the one God exists. He who is reborn as the mind of the one God has the consciousness of God, wisdom. His consciousness does not belong to this or that; it is free, removed from all knowledge; it is emptiness itself. When excrement floats down a clean river, you can easily see it. Likewise, one who is Truth can immediately distinguish one who lies, has a deceptive mind, says false words, or has a false mind from one who speaks Truth and is Truth. ‘Doing without the mind of doing’ means to just do without thinking about it.
The consciousness of Truth is wisdom. It is the consciousness that transcends the word consciousness; there is no false mind so we can say that there is no consciousness. The consciousness of Truth is living wisdom itself; it is Truth, which is free of vain false minds. This consciousness is God itself. When you know Truth, when you know everything, you will exist as it is, live as it is, and be as it is. This is the final stage; there is no further enlightenment. Because it is God, it is the forever-living existence, without any mind of being alive.
