Master Woo Myung Song Lyrics and Verses – One Must Be Born in Eternal Heaven While One Is Alive So That He May Continue to Live There After He Dies
Man must become complete in order to be absent of death.
Man must become complete in order for there to be a Heaven
for him.
He who has been born in eternal Heaven while he is alive
will live without death.
It is only when this world is Heaven that Heaven will exist.
Man’s consciousness is his mind,
and in it there is no Heaven,
for in his mind, man does not have Truth –
in other words, he does not have reality.
Eternal life and Heaven are only for those who have become
the children of the Creator, who are complete.
Heaven is the whole of this universe.
It is the place where all existent creations of
the past, present, and future
are alive.
It is the Land that is beyond one’s mind of attachments.
In other words, it is the world one passes on to
after one’s self has died;
such is eternal life and Heaven.
That a person who has yet to become
this infinite Heaven, or Truth,
would have Heaven in him while he is alive means
he would have the Heaven of his delusions,
not the real Truth.
This in itself is death and a delusion.
Heaven is the Land of the living,
the Land of God and Buddha,
and the Land that is complete, eternal, everlasting,
and alive.
This perfect Land existed from the very beginning.
But due to his own karma,
man is unable to be one with this perfection
and thus lives with delusions.
Because he has delusions he is dead,
which means he lives in falseness –
in his maya – instead of Truth.
The three years I spent in military service were difficult for me
because it did not suit my constitution.
Years later, after I was discharged,
I dreamt one night that
everyone thought I had never been to the army.
In my dream, I provided an enormous sum of evidence
to try and prove that I had already fulfilled my duties,
but no evidence was accepted.
I had to return to the army with a heavy heart.
It was only after I had already begun my service
that I woke up from my dream.
Upon waking up, I realized that I was not in the army again
and that the dream was not real.
From God’s and Buddha’s point of view,
man’s life is a painful dream that he is dreaming and living.
It is only after he wakes up from it
that he will know he is dead,
that he is trapped in hell,
and that he has been living in his maya, which is falseness.
When people dream,
they themselves are in those dreams
and so none of them know
that their dreams are indeed dreams –
that their dreams are false.
The real world, which is the complete and perfect world,
can only be had when it is in one’s mind.
Furthermore, when one becomes reality,
or in other words, Truth,
he will know that the living, eternal world is in him.
Heaven and hell are maya.
This is because
the heaven and hell in one’s delusions are false.
The whole of the true world is Truth itself,
and it is alive.
How can we take heed to what people say –
that those who of us who have faith
will enter into true Paradise after we die –
when we have yet to repent and enter into Paradise
while we are alive?
They say this because they do not know
the true meaning of faith.
Only a person who is alive while he is still living is
a living person;
he is one who knows that he is alive
and knows others who are alive;
he is one who knows what death means;
he is one who knows both hell and Heaven.
He who has been born in Heaven is a living person;
he is the one who lives
where only the child of the Creator may live.
So then how much must one repent?
Man’s sins are what have been passed down for generations.
Since the time humans first ate from
the tree of the knowledge of good and evil
original sin has existed.
Human beings existed even before the age of Adam and Eve.
The Garden of Eden was a place in Nature
that was created by God.
Because people lived there in cohabitation,
they created a distinction between
what was good and what was evil.
A tree of good and evil has never existed.
Rather it is within one’s self that he harbors his thoughts of
what is good and what is evil.
Let’s say that out of hunger,
one stole another person’s food and ate it.
In one’s mind, one comes to store the idea
that one has committed thievery;
one comes to attain
a sense of evil in what he has done,
or in other words, he has eaten the fruit of evil.
A lion may prey on other creatures everyday,
but does it retain in its mind
the thought that it has taken the life of another?
No
And because it does not,
it is without sin.
When man takes a life,
he retains in his mind
the thought that he has killed.
Jesus once said that one must not let
one’s left hand know what one’s right hand is doing.
What this means is
if man were to do a good deed and retain in his mind
the thought that he has done a good deed,
then he has eaten the fruit of good.
It is because man attained this sense of good and evil in him
that he grows further away from God.
God is Truth.
And so when God originally created man,
as well as the whole of creation,
He created them as being Truth.
Thus all were Truth,
and all were the children of God.
But man has come to have his mind –
a mind that is self-centered –
and because of it, he has strayed far from God.
For generations, man’s ancestors ate
the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil,
and because he is born of them,
man is born into this world with original sin.
All things are the children of the sole God who is Truth.
So they live as the image of God.
Koreans say that all things act according to their image.
Because the parents are demons –
because they are sinners –
their children are born demons and sinners as well.
These demons live according to their images
and so they live self-centeredly.
To live self-centeredly means that
because one’s mind is in his image,
he lives doing the deeds of a demon,
for he has lived as the child of a demon.
Man consists of nothing more than a body and a mind.
Discarding that body and mind
and being reborn as the Body and Mind of the Creator
is what this meditation is about.
In Levels One and Two,
you eliminate your mind and thus come to realize
that you are one with the Universe.
In Levels Three and Four,
you eliminate your body and thus come to see
the ‘Jung (Body)’ and ‘Shin (Mind)’ of the Universe.
In Levels Five and Six,
you see the Jung and Shin of the whole of the Universe.
In Levels Seven and Eight,
you become the Jung and Shin, themselves;
at the same time,
your individual mind completely disappears,
and you transmute wholly into
the Jung and Shin of the Universe.
The Universe is made up entirely of Energy and Light,
and unless one transmutes into this Energy and Light,
or in other words, into Truth,
he will not live.
The Energy and Light of the infinite Universe is the Creator.
It is only when one has completely abandoned himself and
has died
that he is able to become one with this Creator.
When one enters into the cycle of the infinite Universe,
his mind will become completely cut off from all things.
If he continues to cleanse his mind,
he will become cleansed of the burden he has in his mind,
the burden being his body.
And once his body has been cleansed,
in other words, once he has transmuted into
the Energy and Light of the Universe,
his mind will no longer exist;
only when God enters into the thought-mass in his forehead
will he have completely repented for all of his sins.
Of this the Bible states that only those who have
the seal of God on their foreheads will live,
while the Buddhist sutras call this ‘the third eye.’
It is for one to gain a surrender from one’s demon,
or in other words, to become completely free of
one’s individual self
and thus fulfill the words, “Truth will set you free.”
It means for one to become liberated
and to become the Creator,
thus becoming absent of death.
And because this means
he has entered eternally into Heaven while he is alive,
he is one who has reached completion.
In order to become a person who has reached completion,
his body, which is his sin and burden,
must no longer exist;
he must thus become one with the Creator.
Man’s mind is manifested in the thoughts in his forehead,
and accordingly he acts.
Thoughts differ because minds differ.
Thought and mind are one.
Thoughts are the representations of
the mind that is in one’s subconscious – one’s self.
In order to have completely repented for all his sins,
Light – or in other words, the wisdom of God –
must enter into his thought-mass.
To measure whether or not one has been completely cleansed,
one must check whether or not he still has his thought-mass.
He who has received Light – or in other words, God’s seal –
in this thought-mass
will no longer have any pain or burdens;
he will gain great wisdom and will thus know everything
even though he knows nothing.
Therefore, one must discard one’s self
until one has received the seal of God.
